Halloween is sneaking up on us and I have a really quick, easy, and inexpensive way to decorate pumpkins. You’ve seen them painted, carved, embellished with all sorts of ribbon, glitter, etc. but how about with tape! It’s much easier than painting or carving and looks just as cute in the end.
I bought Duck Tape in white, black, and spider patterns.
I took the tape and wrapped each pumpkin in the different colored tapes.
I also purchased this cute decorating kit to embellish the tapes.
I added the jewels and glitter to the white and black taped pumpkins.
And also stenciled some wording on the black one.
I used silver acrylic paint to go with the sparkles.
I added a little glitter to the spider tape, but it pretty much decorated itself:)
They turned out really cute and hardly took any time to decorate. You could create your blank canvas color with the tape and get creative with embellishments or buy Duck Tape®’s fun line of Halloween tape and let it do the work for you! Either way, they look pretty cute:) There is a Stick or Treat Contest going on right now where you can enter to win $1,000 and a Cricut Mini! Second place gets $500 and third place gets $300! All you need to do to enter is use Duck Tape® to decorate either a fake or real pumpkin with their tape going and enter before October 31st. The winner will be announced November 11th.
