I Got a New “Real Life” Job

As most of you, my regular job is teaching. I have been teaching for five years, two years in kindergarten and three years in first grade. I have loved my job since I started. I love being with the kids and watching them grow over the course of a year. It has never felt like “work” to me. Starting this fall, I’ll be taking on a new role. At the end of May, my principal called and offered me the new assistant principal position at the school that I currently teach at. I accepted and am excited for a new challenge! It will be very different and I will definitely miss being with a class all day, but I think it will be great for me and our family. I’ll be packing up my classroom over the next month and moving into an office. Is it weird that I’m really excited to paint it and decorate? My mom ordered this sweet picture of Molly’s newborn pics on a canvas for me to hang in there:)
I just love that little girl:)
Have a great weekend!
Congratulations!
Thank you, Cassandra!
