Between feeding Miss Molly all the time, doing her laundry, changing all those poopy diapers, and soaking up lots of snuggles with her, I’ve also been trying to make sure we document all these sweet moments to share with her later.
One thing Mike and I have been consistent with is creating photo books each year. We seem to get coupons or free books each year through Shutterfly and always take advantage to document a fun memory, whether that be a vacation, our wedding, maternity pictures, or anything else worth printing in a book:) We recently made a book of Molly’s arrival and newborn pictures and it turned out really sweet. As great as pictures are, I also wanted to write things down for her. Before she was born, I had seen a few blogs that dedicate posts to writing letters to their babies and thought it was a really sweet idea, but wanted to be able to jot some quick letters down frequently so I bought a journal from Target for her and have been writing to her here and there. I also thought the trendy ikat pattern and colors would be fun for her to look at later:)
How do you document your kids’ lives? Any other great photo book ideas or websites to share?
