This week I decided to link up over at Life Rearranged with Jeannett’s InstaFriday. I’ve seen a lot of bloggers posting their fave recent Instapics and decided it was high time I joined in on the fun.
Mike snapped this pic the other day after dinner when our baby puppy Pudge wanted to climb up on my lap. He’s pretty sure he’s a small human but we’re pretty sure he is a massive dog. Either way, he’s pretty cuddly:)

If you haven’t made a skillet cookie before, you are missing out on one of life’s greatest treats. Seriously. We’ve made this numerous time and it has been a little slice of heaven every time. Click on the recipe and make it. We embarrassingly ate this amount the first night. And, of course, finished it off the second.
And since I never talk about my job {do you guys want to hear more about school or is that boring/off topic?}, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to share just one of the reasons why I love my job. I am lucky enough to be surrounded by 6-7 year olds all day. Some days it’s exhausting and tests my patience, but most days, I really really enjoy it. And this is why first graders are awesome.
A little boy spent his entire recess coming up with this for me. Even if you are in the worst mood ever, this has to cheer you up:) Another teacher perk? We got ipads! I know this is actually really rare to brag about “perks” of being a teacher because, let’s face it, money and awesome technology are not typically thrown our way, but my school applied for and received a huge technology grant that afforded all teachers ipads! The first grade teachers are also getting class sets for next year. Very exciting. I’m just learning how to use it so if anyone has tips/great apps you love, let me know!
Gotta cheer for a new Ipad! Yahoo! Puppy is adorable too!
