Great Resource: Public Surplus

Have you guys heard of Public Surplus?
I just heard about it last week {I forget where I read about it!} and love it so much that I wanted to keep it to myself so none of you could steal any great deals near me thought I would share with all of you today. It’s basically an online “Restore”-type space where you can find anything and everything up for auction. To give you a more visual description, here are some examples of fun finds I saved during a recent search. You can search by state, but I just went through the whole site to share some items up for auction from all over.
$1 Chalkboard. I don’t know about you, but as a kid, I would have gone crazy for this. Actually, I still think it’s pretty awesome and if I had room in my house somewhere, I would be all over it.
Love these giant bay lights. The whole pile of them is listed at $41. How fun would one be hanging over a kitchen table?
Can you believe this humungo refrigerator only cost $20?
These lockers are currently listed at $15.50. I could see them lined up in a mud room with some fun vinyl numbers on the front.
Ashley makes projects all the time using an old school projector. It’s an easy way to trace a large piece of art or words onto a wall. For only $1.00, I’d say it’s worth it.
Creating a theater room in your house? Search around your area and you may just find an overhead screen like this one for a buck.
For a little heftier price {$232} than some of the other items I shared here, you could snatch up this stainless steel prep table and have a unique, industrial kitchen island.
So what do you think? Are you going to head over and see what’s available in your area? Or am I the only one who thinks this site is super cool?
Never heard of it but it looks great. I’m going to see if we have that here in Lexington and am going to send my blog partner a link to this post so she can check into it where she lives.
Love the sight.. no room for anything while I am traveling, but when I get back to the US I will definitely check it out!
