Have you figured it out yet? {Click on images for sources}. You may remember from this post that I am pining after round tables. I am enlisting Mike to build one for me and this is the winning design that we are using for inspiration:
We are still working on the actual design and probably won’t start building for awhile, but I’m excited to see what a statement it will make in the kitchen. We’ll keep you posted on all our progress as we go!

I love round tables. My only comment is that a pedestal table is better if you’re trying to fit extra people around it. I personally don’t like the look as much as the tables with legs, but it’s something to think about.
Looking forward to seeing the final product.
Man oh man, I’ve been drooling over round tables lately! I’d like one to seat at least 8, with a pedestal base. Love your inspiration pics and can’t wait to see how your project turns out!
Thanks for the tips/ideas ladies! It’s always nice to hear a different perspective. We started looking at designs more closely last night and I think Mike is going to start looking at different types of wood today. Yay! Excited to get started:)
