November Wrap-Up
December 5, 2011 | Posted by Jessie under Financial Freedom Fridays |
I know I usually post these on Fridays but it slipped my mind last week so it’s here today!
We started out the month by finishing off our big dining room makeover. The barn style wainscoting and pretty Thanksgiving decor really set that room apart.
Mike crafted this cute little trash can cover to match our kitchen island makeover.
I sewed some last month and made a super simple DIY maxi skirt that will work in the fall with a long sleeve shirt or sweater and in the spring and summer with a cute tank.
I crafted this woodsy jewelry holder for my closet using sticks, an old frame, and some scrap materials.
Then I shared some ideas on how to polish your marriage and a great deal for a holiday gift. Have you bought your copies of the Dating Divas ebooks yet? The sale is running through the end of December so get yours before it’s over! This is the perfect book to grab up for the winter to heat things up around your house and get ready for a year of dates in 2012:)
Then the Christmas decorating began! I started with some really simple, cozy sweater trees.
Can you believe Thanksgiving has already come and gone? I shared some great reasons I was grateful this year.
We put up our tree over Thanksgiving weekend {which I’ll share tomorrow} and I snipped some greenery from the bottom to make this pretty wreath.
I also worked on our mantle that weekend and created a cute snuggly stocking for the Pudge man.
Lastly, I made a cute little mitten pillow with the scraps from Pudge’s stocking and som muslin fabric.
I have a few more Christmas decor posts coming this week then we’ll be switching it up with a few items Mike has been building!
Have a grea Monday!
