FFF: October Wrap-Up
| November 4, 2011 | Posted by Jessie under Financial Freedom Fridays |
Well it’s here…
…or gone, I guess. Either way, it’s time to look back on what went down in October.
Fall hit with lots of pretty fall leaves which inspired me to make this cute little front door monogram
Then I confessed my laziness with this post about being a “95% finisher” {as Mike so kindly calls me} and followed up with my semi-checked off to-do list. I know you’re impressed.
One of our biggest projects in October was our kitchen island makeover. I.love.it
Our “construction” project of the month was the log storage bench we made for my mother-in-law’s birthday. It fits in so well at the cabin and I think she loved the surprise.
Speaking of storage, I’ve started dreaming up a grand closet scheme and shared some beautiful, yet practical closets in this inspiration post.

I went on a bit of a sewing stint this month and made this super simple t-shirt headband:
And this lace and linen infinity scarf:
One of my favorite projects this month was my Glitter Blast iPhone makeover. If you aren’t a fan of your cell phone case {or anything really}, Glitter Blast it’s ugliness away, You’ll thank me later.
I had a great fall break in Austin, TX and shared some gorgeous southwest style here:
Broadening my photography horizons this month, I joined Michelle in the 30 Day Photography Challenge. You can see week 1 here, week 2, and week 3 here, but these are a couple of my favorites so far.
I’ll be linking up again next week!
And lastly, I shared 30 reasons why I love my now 30 year old hubby on his bday:) Isn’t he cute?
What did you accomplish this month? I’d love to hear about it!
Have a great weekend!
