Master Bedroom Reveal
August 8, 2011 | Posted by Jessie under Master Bedroom |
You’ve read about our bedroom inspiration {including the warm wood walls and wall to wall curtains} and saw how we made the love letters display, our agape stained hanging letters, our lacy heart pillow, some romantic wall art, how I made our “tabbed curtains” and nightstand accessories {parts 1 and 2}, and how we picked the perfect gray and now it’s time to see it all together. But before we do that, remember the before {blue walls and emptiness?}
Now forget about that blahness and enjoy these pretty pics of our new cozy, rustic room.
We love it and so does Pudge:) It’s such a serene, cozy, romantic room now and we are so happy with the results. I have full tutorials coming up on how we created our wood wall and also how we created the cornice and wall of curtains.
What do you think? Have any of you created recently made over a bedroom? I’d love to hear with your thoughts!
Update: We’ve swapped out the black coral curtains with our Ikea dining room curtains! Soooo much better:)
This is linked up with: Today’s Creative Blog, Between Naps on the Porch, and Serenity Now.
It’s like your room is a big giant scrapbook. Full of memories and details all done with love. Great job!
That’s a great way to describe it:) Thanks!

Thanks for the invite, Tanya!
I love the wall with the wood panels added. With the more feminine touches to the bed it is such a great combination of masculine and feminine! I am looking to redo our bedroom and adding the wood pieces behind our bed just might be the inspiration that I needed!
We were definitely looking to bring in both of our personalities and we love how it turned out. Good luck with your room!
Love the entire room but the curtains are my very favorite! Love the pattern!
