Whew, it’s already been a crazy, crazy day. First of all, I hope you like the new layout! We’ve had a little cosmetic surgery done here to create a little more inviting atmosphere:) I hope it’s more convenient for you. Now, onto the fun stuff:

I love this sign transformation! Totally calm and serene now! But what also caught my eye were your awesome toile ottomans and throw pillow. Did you make these? They are gorge and I would love a set for myself. Do tell your secret!!

They were my very first slipcover projects and are far from perfect but I love how they look! For the bubble skirt, I created a pleat at each corner and then added an extra hem at the bottom to finish them off. I am working on putting up posts on all the living room additions we’ve made lately so keep checking back for more!

I’m not sure how I came across your blog, but a few weeks ago when I did, I became hooked! I, too am a teacher, and love trash to treasure and diy. The name you picked couldn’t be more perfect! As a mom of a toddler, my creative time is limited, but I’m storing up lots of ideas for when time is on my side! Thank you for sharing! In the meantime, I’m going to try your meal plan idea for this coming week. I look forward to your next diy adventure!
