Inspiring Sewing Table

I recently mentioned that we came into a jackpot of furniture. My mom’s boss was getting new furniture for his office and gave us-yes, GAVE-us his old furniture. Mike and one his friends picked it up a little over a week ago and I have been hard at work to refinish it. My new favorite piece of furniture in our house is now my beautiful new sewing table. It was a plain brown desk before and I sanded it repainted it white and stenciled the word “create” on the front.
Here is the before (I had started sanding and you can see the sawdust covered my camera lens):
And here it is now:
It’s just begging for me to come “create” something beautiful! I’ll be sure to post it when I do.
I can’t believe how pretty that turned out! And the Create stencil on the front adds just the right touch!

Isn’t paint great? You did a awesome job and free furniture is always great. The create stencil made it even more lovely.
